The 5th Member Representative Conference and 5th Council of the China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association was held in Suzhou. The conference elected a new council and supervisory board, and the group company was elected as the vice chairman unit of the association. The general manager of the boiler company, Li Zairan, attended the meeting to review and vote on relevant reports and proposals, and read out the voting results. Zhou Donglei, the chief engineer of the boiler company, attended the meeting and was elected as a member of the "Boiler Technical Committee".
At the meeting, Comrade Guo Yuanliang, Executive Chairman of the Presidium of the Conference, Chairman of the Fourth Council of the Association, and Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Special Equipment Testing and Research Institute, delivered the Association's "Work Report". Zhang Hongwei, Deputy Director of the Special Equipment Safety Supervision Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Li Jun, Vice President of the China Special Equipment Testing and Research Institute, among others, delivered keynote speeches, clarifying both the task objectives and the development direction of the Association's future work. Comrade Qiu Jiayou, the new chairman of the association and the general manager of Shanghai Boiler Factory Co., Ltd., delivered a speech titled "Taking the Road of Innovation, Sharing, and Development, Striving to Promote China's Boiler and Water Treatment Industry to a New Level".
The conference also voted to approve four proposals, including the revision of the association's articles of association and the establishment of nine committees including the "Boiler Technical Committee". At the same time, the first "Boiler Science and Technology Award" award ceremony and the boiler energy-saving and environmental protection technology exchange meeting of the association were held. More than 370 member representatives from across the country attended the conference.
It is reported that the China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association, formerly known as the China Boiler Water Treatment Association, was established in 1995. On December 11, 2017, it was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and officially renamed as the "China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association". This is a milestone event in the development history of the association, enabling the association to lead and drive the development of the boiler industry on a broader platform, and play a more active and promising role in serving the national economy. The association is composed of units and individuals engaged in manufacturing, use, inspection and testing, supervision and management (including design, manufacturing, installation, renovation, maintenance), cleaning equipment manufacturing and cleaning services, as well as related research in the boiler industry.
